A2 Media Evaluation

I am a 17 year old, year 13 student attending Sprowston Sixth Form, where I'm studying Media Studies, Philosophy and Ethics, and English Literature. I will be using this website to post the evaluation of my A2 media studies portfolio and independent productions. My candidate number is 9691.

 

For my main production, I have chosen brief 7 and created an extract of a documentary for Channel 4 which investigates the presence of sexism within the media industries, named 'The Role of Sexism', with my extract focuing on the music industry and production roles. I have also produced two ancillary products alongside this; a double page TV lisitngs magazine spread for the Radio Times about my documentary, and a newspaper advertisement of my documentary for i Newspaper.

 

I have discussed the processes and decisions of undertaking this task within my production pitch presentation.
